Data Boss - RS232 Reader Software

Data Boss - RS232 Reader Software offers a simple, easy to use, solution for displaying and moving scanned data into a MS Access database.  RS232 Reader automatically monitors the 9-pin serial port (com1) on your PC. When a barcode scanner, RFID reader, or other data reader, is connected to your serial port, RS232 Reader automatically captures the data, displays it for the operator.

Easy to install, RS232 Reader can be loaded to your PC's start menu so it will start whenever the PC is turned on.

Each time data is received, it is automatically moved to an MS Access database along with a time and date stamp.

An easy to use data limiter feature allows the operator to restrict the number of data characters that pass through the port to be moved to the database. For instance if you scan a barcode containing 25 characters, you can set the software to only pass the first 8 characters it sees to the database.

 Software requires MS XP operating system.
